The Silence
Bio:
January 2002 saw the birth of what is now known as THE SILENCE. With members
from other well-known Southern California punk and hardcore bands, The Silence
has created one of the biggest local followings in Orange County and abroad.
Meshing fast and furious punk rock with the melody of 80's music and the brashness
of post-hardcore, the band has created a style all their own. Mixing aggressive
rock into their structure, such as the styles of At The Drive In, Led Zepplin,
Mars Volta and Sparta, with the fast and in-your-face sounds of AFI, Strung
Out and My Chemical Romance, the band has been tauted as one of the premiere
up-and-coming bands in California. Already, The Silence has toured the United
States with bands such as Strung Out, Avenged Sevenfold, Pennywise, A Static
Lullaby, Slick Shoes, Guttermouth, Goldfinger, Unwritten Law, Story Of The
Year, Tsunami Bomb, Face To Face, Taking Back Sunday, Rufio, Voodoo Glow Skulls,
Home Grown, RXBandits, Zebrahead, Vaux, Pulley, Plain White Tee's and tons
more.

Victory Within's "Paying for Yesterdays Mistakes"
CD description Music from this album start off with dark heavy riffs, dissonant
breakdowns that explode into anthemic uplifting choruses. Song subjects range
from alienation, violence in American culture, depression and drug addiction.
The lyrics take the side of a person facing adversity and offer a solution
without being preachy.

Snakeoil Revival CD description
You might get the impression from the booze-label cover art, album title and
label name that this indie disc was a hard-driving, southern accented rock
set full of songs of excess, garnished with bitchin' strat solos. You'd be
correct. This album is packed with greasy riffage with balls-out ethusiasm
that will gladden the heart of Zepplin and Black Crowes fans

The Silence "Audio Alchemy" CD description:
A Dark emo-screamo style with pop hooks throughout. Songs about death, depreciation
and internal struggles.

BIO:
Hailing from the San Diegan suburbs of Vista, CA, the four known as Flight Risk blend sounds and principles of punk with driving metal guitar riffs, powerful percussion, and melodies that range from soothing to sinister.
After forming in 2002, the band’s special recipe of melodic hardcore has granted them immediate attention in town and out.
This is a culmination of exceptional musicians who have all been studying, recording, and performing music since their early youth. They have all studied a variety of instruments and played in a number of other bands, such as Userfriendly (who was featured on the Vans Warped Tour from 1999 to 2001 without any label support), Strikes & Gutters, Arneson, Sic Waiting, The Essentials, Shopping Kart Assassins, Only Us, and endless other projects.
With the van packed to the ceiling, they have been hitting the road on weekdays, weekends, holidays, leap year, and any other chance they have gotten over the years. With the release of their first EP this summer on Whiskey Records, they are planning an audio assault that will end only when no stereo is left empty and no eardrum is left unscarred.
